“February 21, 2015
Our second time staying at the “farm”. This time in the cottage. Flowers were early, eagles were busy as well as the hummers. Enjoyed the deer as we drove out the driveway to get dinner. The views are spectacular. The morning sunrise was to die for. Love taking a much needed “break” with my honey as we celebrate our birthdays together this month.”

TESTIMONIALS

“My husband and I read The Egg and I aloud to one another when we were still dating. It was a favorite of mine from childhood. We have wanted to come to Vashon for years to do a “Betty Pilgrimage”. This was just a delightful visit. What a beautiful setting! Breathtaking views everywhere you look. The cottage is absolutely charming. We never did find the eagle’s nest, but on our leisurely morning stroll around the grounds we saw two lovely young male deer and a few hummingbirds. What a wonderfully peaceful place. Browsing through the Betty MacDonald memorabilia made our pilgrimage complete.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

As we were browsing triple A, we saw the article on your farm. When I saw it I knew my sister’s and I would want to come visit for one of our sister’s trips. With thoughts of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle in mind we made our way here. (From Lynnwood, Silver Lake, and Anacortes). We brought tapes of Ma and Pa Kettle and watched “The Egg and I” by a warm fire. We laughed and enjoyed the show.
The house is so charming and cozy. We enjoyed the view from the kitchen and drank our morning coffee. We also enjoyed the Asian pears.
Thanks from 3 sisters”

“Andy and I often take short vacations to B & B’s around the Pacific Northwest and this has been one of the very best. We loved the gorgeous location (so quiet and peaceful), the eggs, seeing Mt Rainer in all its glory several times, the fabulous and funky décor, all the magazines, the great deck, the cozy robes, “The Egg and I” movie, and the lovely welcoming atmosphere.
What a wonderful peace you have created.”
